Latvia Update

  • Three clubs in Riga are all filled with kids! Pray for God to take a hold of their hearts. ​
  • Winter camp is being planned. Pray for the provision, health, and open hearts.
  • Leaders continue to gather weekly to study and memorize the Word and grow in their faith. Pray for new revelations, renewal, and deeper connection with Jesus for each leader.
  • The ministry continues to form in neighboring Estonia, gaining volunteers for contact work and club. Please pray a team of committed leaders to be formed.

GOD IS PLANTING SEEDS OF CHANGE IN LatvIA THROUGH YOUNG LIFE

Latvia is a beautiful country on the Baltic Sea, but it is also burdened by high unemployment and suicide rates. The hopelessness of Latvia’s youth can be seen in the prevalent alcoholism and drug use.

Young Life ministry is reaching out to these kids by providing a secure, safe environment and warm friendship. Through these relationships, the hopelessness of these youth can be turned into purpose and life with the Good News of Jesus.
